Superstar Rajinikanth landed in Tuticorin today. He was papped by the media at the airport. His ongoing film, ‘Vettaiyan’, resumes shooting in the city tomorrow. The movie is said to be a cop action drama with Thalaivar playing a Muslim cop opposing the fake encounter culture.
Vettaiyan, directed by TJ Gnanavel of ‘Jai Bhim’ fame, commenced filming in October. It is shot across Chennai, Kerala, Tirunelveli and Mumbai. The team is now camped at Tuticorin for the new schedule of the shooting which begins tomorrow. Superstar Rajinikanth arrived at the Tuticorin airport today for the same.
Photos and videos of Thalaivar from the airport are rocking the internet now. The film stars Rajinikanth alongside an ensemble cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh, Dushara Vijayan and others. With music by Anirudh Ravichander, Vettaiyan is planning for a grand silver-screen release in April 2024.
