Director Gopi Nainar debuted in Tamil cinema with the highly acclaimed film ‘Aramm’ starring Lady Superstar Nayanthara. Now, his second project ‘Karuppar Nagaram’ is awaiting a theatrical release. It has Jai, Aishwarya Rajesh and JD Chakravarthy in the lead roles. He has also completed shooting his other movie ‘Manushi’ with Andrea Jeremiah.
Gopi Nainar is currently busy shooting his new film titled ‘Agaram Colony’ which stars Lal and Radhika Sarathkumar in the lead roles. The latest reports suggest that there was a severe electric accident on the sets of this movie. The shooting of Agaram Colony is said to be happening in Sengundram, Thiruvallur.
Lightmen Shanmugam and Ranjith were severely injured due to electric shock during the shooting of this movie. The two were rushed to hospital after this incident. The doctor who examined them allegedly said that Shanmugam had already died. It is also said that Ranjith is undergoing intensive treatment. The police have registered a case and are investigating.
