Kotapadi J. Rajesh, of course, one of the notable Indian Tamil film producers described as the world of energy behind KJR Studios, has now been admitted to Apollo Hospitals for treatment. The exact reason behind his ailment has yet to be identified. Rajesh, following his passion for cinema, eventually, with a 12-year-long tenure in the banking sector, gave rise to KJR Studios.
One of his most notable productions in the recent past is the Sivakarthikeyan-starrer Ayalaan, which got for itself access to significant limelight. However, this latest news of hospitalization frothed the cup within the industry and also to the hilt fans.
Rajesh has been an instrumental director in the making of films like Singa Paadhai, Gulaebaghavali, Airaa, Hero, Ka Pae Ranasingam, Dikkiloona, Rubam, Dabangg 3, and many more. Though he wanted the release of the movie Doctor in theatres, under the COVID-19 pandemic’s impact, he has finally given the nod for the release of the film on various OTT platforms.
From the outset, Rajesh harbored a desire to create films that carry a meaningful message for the audience. This vision is evident in his movie Hero, which can be seen as an extension of his debut project, Aramm. Notably, Aramm received Filmfare’s Best Tamil Film award, cementing Rajesh’s commitment to producing impactful cinema with a significant narrative for viewers.
