Directed by Nikkhil Advani, this film portrays the unfulfilled love between Naina and Aman. Aman, aware of his terminal illness, helps Naina navigate her life and sacrifices his love.

Kal Ho Naa Ho

Directed by Imtiaz Ali, this film explores the journey of Janardhan Jakhar, a struggling musician, and his unrequited love for Heer. Despite his intense feelings for her, circumstances prevent their love from being fulfilled.


Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, this epic historical romance is based on the love story of Peshwa Bajirao  and Mastani. It beautifully portrays their struggles as they strive to be together despite the obstacles, ultimately leading to a tragic and unfulfilled end to their love story.

Directed by Karan Johar, this film revolves around Ayan, Alizeh, and Saba, exploring complex relationships and unfulfilled love. Ayan’s unrequited love for Alizeh forms the core of the narrative, leading to emotional turmoil and self-discovery.

Ae Dil Hai Mushkil

Directed by Pankaj Kapur, this film follows the tumultuous love story of Harry and Aayat, spanning over several years and various obstacles. Despite their deep affection, their love remains unfulfilled due to circumstances beyond their control.


Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s retelling of ‘Romeo and Juliet’ is passionate and beautifully executed. The chemistry between Ranveer and Deepika is the biggest takeaway.
