‘Amaran’ is touted to be the biggest action film in Sivakarthikeyan’s career. He is playing the titular role in this film, which is a biopic of the late Major Mukund Varadarajan. The shooting has been going on for a long time now. As per the latest reports, the team is planning to wrap up SK’s portions in a few days.
The producers, Raaj Kamal Films and Sony Pictures, are bringing the massive action saga to the big screens on 6th September, marking Vinayagar Chathurthi. However, we have to wait for an official confirmation in this regard. ‘Rangoon’ fame Rajkumar Periasamy has written and directed ‘Amaran’ which also features Sai Pallavi, Rahul Bose and others.
On the work front, Sivakarthikeyan is simultaneously filming for ‘SK 23’, directed by AR Murugadoss. He is expected to work with Venkat Prabhu after that. Meanwhile, Rajkumar Periasamy is said to have signed a film with Dhanush under Gopuram Films. ‘Manjummel Boys’ director Chidambaram was initially in talks to do the film with Dhanush but now there is a change.
