Applause Entertainment and Neelam Studios officially announced in March that director Mari Selvaraj is going to helm Dhruv Vikram and Anupama Parameshwaran in an epic sports drama. Dhruv’s father, Chiyaan Vikram, shared an exciting update about this project on Saturday.
The film is said to be a biography of the Kabaddi player, Manathi Ganesan, with Dhruv playing the titular role. Chiyaan Vikram unveiled a new poster of the movie and wrote, “He is coming.” As per the date in the poster, we can expect a big announcement on 6th May (Monday). The title of the project might be presented by the makers this time.
This update is going viral on social media. Dhruv Vikram had undergone intense Kabaddi training for this untitled venture. The shooting for this film is expected to commence this month. The filming is likely to happen in South Tamil Nadu, including Tirunelveli. The other details about the cast and crew are kept under wraps.
