Selena Gomez revealed her comfort and satisfaction in her relationship with Benny Blanco recently, despite his openness. “He can’t lie to save his life,” Selena remarked in a May 29 TIME interview. Should one be posed, he will respond.”
Although her personal life has frequently been in the public eye, the 31-year-old singer is still wary of disclosing too much and doesn’t hold Benny responsible for his candour. “I know what people can do to those I love,” she said. “The cruelest things can be said about how I conduct my life by even my own admirers. However Benny’s strength is that he is unaffected by all of that noise.”
Selena says she loves spending time with Benny and says, “It’s incredibly incredible, and I simply enjoy every moment with him. He’s not going anywhere anytime soon, that much is certain, even though I have no idea what lies ahead.” Selena has concentrated on living in the moment ever since their romance debuted in December. Thinking back, she added, “I grew used to living alone for five years. I was content to be alone and, had I not met someone, I had even intended to adopt at 35.”
But things with her old pal Benny abruptly altered. “It just happens when you least expect it,” she said.
