Jennifer Lopez is still spending quality time with her stepdaughter, Violet Affleck, despite speculations of marriage problems with Ben Affleck.
On Saturday, July 13, 51-year-old Lopez uploaded a selfie video on Instagram Story. She appears in the video seated in a car’s passenger seat sporting sunglasses, a white top, and her wedding band. 18-year-old Violet and pal actress Cassidey Fralin are in the rearseat staring out the window. The Kid LAROi sets the video to “GIRLS.”
Affleck shares with ex-wife Jennifer Garner Violet, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12. With ex-husband Marc Anthony, Lopez has sixteen-year twins Max and Emme.
After a source informed Us Weekly that Affleck and Lopez were “in a rush” to sell their Beverly Hills property amid divorce rumors, Lopez’s post followed. “They decided to list it publicly to draw more buyers even though they felt they could sell it off-market,” the insider claimed. Ben particularly wants to be done with the house. He never enjoyed living there.
In the 38,000-square-foot estate with 12 bedrooms and 24 bathrooms, the couple “never felt settled”. In June 2023 they paid $60 million for it; on July 11 they advertised it for $68 million.
Affleck and Lopez tied the knot in 2022, but May saw rumors of a breakup starting. According to a source, the couple had problems as Lopez was getting ready for her eventually canceled This Is Me…Live Tour. According to another source, Affleck moved out weeks ago. Living apart, there is a “sliver of hope” for their marriage.
Though they supposedly kept their distance, the couple has been seen together multiple times since May, including during Violet’s high school graduation on May 30 and Samuel’s middle school graduation on June 12.
