in Dr Krishnendu Chatterjee’s upcoming film
. Based on the life of legendary Bengali actor
Bhanu Bandyopadhyay
, the titular role will be played by actor
Saswata Chatterjee
. The film is set to release this year.
The first look of Darshana as Suchitra Sen has been released and has gone viral on social media.
She is seen wearing a chiffon saree with a ribbon bow in her hair and a sleek neckpiece. Capturing the grace and charisma of the Mahanayika will be challenging, and the audience’s anticipation is high to see how Darshana portrays it.
Speaking about the part, Darshana said, “It’s a big opportunity for me. I’m equally excited and nervous to play this role.” Raima Sen, actress and granddaughter of Suchitra Sen , has wished Darshana the best.
