The Malayalam film industry was shaken yesterday when a sexual assault case was filed against popular actor Nivin Pauly in Ernakulam. The complaint alleges that Nivin is among six individuals who lured a woman to Dubai in November 2023 under the guise of offering her a film role, only to sexually assault her. The case has sparked widespread attention, with fans and industry insiders closely watching how the situation unfolds.

The Kerala police have registered a non-bailable case against Nivin Pauly and the other accused. The news quickly went viral, prompting Nivin to issue a clarification just hours after the story broke. In his statement, Nivin strongly denied the allegations, stating, “I have come across a false news report accusing me of abusing a girl. Please know that this is entirely untrue. I’m determined to go to any extent to prove these allegations are baseless and will take all necessary steps to bring those responsible to light. Thank you for your concern. The rest will be handled legally.”

In response to the allegations, Nivin also held a press conference late last night, where he addressed the media directly. “I saw the news just now. I don’t know that girl, and I haven’t seen her. This is a baseless allegation. The news is affecting us because I have a family. I called for this press conference at this time because I am 100% sure that I am not at fault. An FIR has been registered, and I will handle the case according to the law and will fight against it. I will go to any extent to prove the truth. This will take time,” Nivin asserted.
