Sivakarthikeyan’s Diwali release “Amaran” has shattered box office records, becoming a monumental blockbuster. The biographical drama not only stands as Sivakarthikeyan’s highest-grossing film but also claims the title of the second-highest-grossing Tamil film of the year. Following its theatrical success, the much-acclaimed film will debut on OTT.
The producers have officially announced that “Amaran” will start streaming on Netflix from December 5. The movie will be available in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi. Directed by Rajkumar Periasamy, Amaran chronicles the life of Major Mukund Varadarajan, a decorated soldier, through the eyes of his wife, Indhu Rebecca Varghese, who narrates his inspiring journey.
The film has Sivakarthikeyan in the lead role as Major Mukund, alongside the brilliant Sai Pallavi, who portrays Indhu. The ensemble cast also includes Rahul Bose, Bhuvan Arora, Lallu, and Geetha Kailasam. With music composed by GV Prakash Kumar, striking cinematography by debutant CH Sai, and seamless editing by R. Kalaivanan, “Amaran” delivers a poignant and visually captivating cinematic experience.
