Actor Vikram Prabhu is acting in a new film titled “Love Marriage,” directed by debutant Shanmugapriyan. The film features Sushmita Batt, Meenakshi Dinesh, Ramesh Thilak, Aruldoss, Kajaraj, and Muruganandham in key roles. Veteran actor Sathyaraj appears in a special role. The music for the film is composed by Sean Roldan. Produced by Swetha and Nidhi Sagar under the banners Azhiyoor Films and Rise East Entertainment, the movie promises an engaging storyline.
Director Shanmugapriyan shared insights about the film, stating, “The story revolves around the societal and familial struggles faced by an individual due to delayed marriage. While writing the script, I felt Vikram Prabhu would be a perfect fit for the role. He has never played such a character before and immediately accepted the role after hearing the story.”
The film is set in Gobichettipalayam, where the hero runs a textile shop in Usilampatti, and the heroine, played by Sushmita Batt, is a school teacher. The plot revolves around how their marriage takes place. Though a family drama, the film is infused with humor, making it relatable to all audiences. Certain scenes were shot in a 120-year-old house in Gobichettipalayam, adding authenticity to the setting.
The shooting has been completed, and post-production is currently underway. The first look of the film was released yesterday.“`
