Superstar Rajinikanth recently watched the movie ‘Dragon’ and personally congratulated the film crew. The movie, released on February 21, has crossed ₹100 crore in global box office collections and is considered a major success. Many have noted that it is the first blockbuster in Tamil Nadu for 2025.
After watching the film, Rajini praised the movie and its writing. Director Ashwath Marimuthu shared his excitement about meeting Rajinikanth, quoting him as saying, “What an excellent writing! Fantastic, fantastic!” Ashwath expressed his joy, stating that it is every aspiring director’s dream to be recognized by Rajini sir, making this moment a dream come true for him.
Producer Archana Kalpathi, director Ashwath Marimuthu, and actor Pradeep Ranganathan met Rajinikanth in person. On March 4, the team celebrated the film’s massive success by cutting a cake together. A video of this celebration has been shared online.
