Actress Samantha starred in the web series ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny,’ which was released last year. Up next, she is producing and acting in the Telugu film ‘Maa Inti Bangaram.’ After battling Myositis, she has now recovered and is focusing on her film career.

Recently, Samantha completed 15 years in the film industry. During a special event in Chennai, she reflected on her journey and stated that she feels blessed to have spent 15 years in cinema.

Talking about her career, she said, “I debuted with the movie ‘Moscowin Kaveri,’ alongside my friend Rahul Ravindran. However, I don’t remember much about that film. But I vividly remember every shot from my second film, ‘Ye Maaya Chesave’ (the Telugu version of ‘Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa’).”

She acknowledged that 15 years in the film industry is a long time. Looking back at some of her past performances, she now feels that her acting wasn’t great. However, she believes that’s how she learned and improved. Samantha mentioned that she had no mentors in the industry, nor did she know different languages when she started.

“I had to learn everything from scratch. I had no friends, no contacts, and no relatives in cinema. However, I gained experience and learned through my work. These 15 years have been a period of learning. Now that I know my strengths and weaknesses, I look forward to the next 15 years with excitement,” she concluded.
