The movie ‘Sundara Travels’ released in 2002, starring Murali and Vadivelu, was a hit, especially for its comedy scenes. Now, the sequel is being made under the title ‘Sundara Travels Super Fast’.
The film features actors Karunas, Karunakaran, ‘Aadukalam’ Murugadas, and Shams, among others. Additionally, renowned producer Seven Channel Narayanan makes his acting debut. Newcomers Vignesh and Anjali will also be introduced through this film.
Directed by Karuppu Thangam, the film has Selva handling cinematography and Hariharan composing the music. Speaking about the movie, the director mentioned, “The bus is the real hero of this story. All the characters are created around it. We even purchased a bus and customized it for filming purposes.”
The filming locations include dense forests in Kodaikanal and Panrimalai, as well as regions like Tenkasi, Karaikudi, and Chennai. The second phase of shooting is currently underway.
