The trailer for GV Prakash’s upcoming movie “Kalvan” has been unveiled by the film’s creators. Directed by cinematographer PV Shankar, the movie is scheduled to release in theaters on April 4th.
The 2.13-minute trailer begins with a warning issued to villagers about the threat posed by a herd of elephants that has entered the nearby forest. Despite the danger, GV Prakash, Dheena, and Bharathiraja are seen gearing up to venture into the forest, likely to steal the elephants’ tusks. So, they ignore the warnings, and proceed with their plan, only to face the perilous consequences when confronted by the forest’s formidable elephants.
Produced by Axess Film Factory, features a cast including Dheena, Bharathiraja, Ivana, G Gnanasambandam, Vinoth Munna, Jenson Dhivakar, Prasanna Balachandran, and Nivedita.
Most of the movie was filmed in and around the Sathyamangalam forest reserve. Director PV Shankar, along with Ramesh Aiyappan, has penned the script for “Kalvan.” Notably, Shankar also serves as the cinematographer for the film. In addition to starring in the lead role, GV Prakash has composed the music, while Reva has handled the background score.
