We all know that Superstar Rajinikanth has done a cameo role after a long time in his daughter Aishwarya’s directorial comeback, ‘Lal Salaam’. The upcoming film is a sports drama set in the backdrop of cricket with Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth playing the lead roles.
‘Lal Salaam’ was initially announced to hit the screens on Pongal but the release was delayed due to some issues. Lyca Productions, the producers of the movie, are now releasing their action venture ‘Mission Chapter 1’ on Pongal. Meanwhile, the makers of Lal Salaam broke that the film is coming to cinemas on February 9th worldwide.
The film’s release coincides with the Valentine’s Day weekend. Sharing a new poster, Lyca wrote, “Namma THER THIRUVIZHA’ku Alappara kelappa neram vandhachu! LAL SALAAM hits the big screen on February 9th 2024! Save the date!” (sic). This is now going viral on the internet. The movie has an ensemble star cast and music composed by AR Rahman.
