Amid intensified campaigning in Patkura, National Vice President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the party’s Lok Sabha candidate for Kendrapara, Baijayant Panda on Sunday held a series of meetings with hundreds of party workers from nine panchayats including Chandol, Mukundapur, Baspur, Ratadia and Khandasahi of his parliamentary seat.

He had a threadbare discussion with them about the election strategies.

Speaking to the media, the BJP leader said, ”We discussed with hundreds of party workers of nine panchayats about the elections strategies. We also deliberated on workable points. Lakhs of our party workers are reaching out to the grassroots and canvassing for votes to the BJP. People have made up their minds to vote for the BJP.”

He added that the party workers will take the people to the booths and the party will put up an excellent performance in the upcoming polls.

The BJP leader also visited Ram Mandir at Artamula village under Derabish block and sought blessings of Lord Sri Ram. 

Later, he visited Sri Sri Sidha Banambar Mahapurusha peetha at Patharpada where he participated in the three-day long spiritual programme. He interacted about the elections with thousands of devotees who thronged the programme.
