The theatrical release of ‘Thangalaan’, the ambitious film starring Chiyaan Vikram and directed by Pa Ranjith, is long pending. The entire filming was wrapped up last year and the post-production is also over this year. The creators are waiting for a proper release date to unveil the much-awaited movie.
In a surprising turn of events, it is being reported that Allu Arjun starrer ‘Pushpa 2 The Rule’ might be postponed as the shooting hasn’t been wrapped up yet, prompting ‘Thangalaan’ to occupy the release date. If everything goes well, Thangalaan will have a huge advantage in the long holiday week. This news is circulating online now.
‘Thangalaan’ chronicles the story of the natives who lived in the Kolar Gold Fields in Karnataka, set in the pre-independence backdrop. Produced by Studio Green, the movie features Vikram, Malavika Mohanan, Pasupathy, Parvathy, Daniel Caltigarone, Harikrishnan and others. GV Prakash composes the music with DOP by Kishor Kumar and editing by Selva RK.
