The University of Delhi’s Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) has successfully concluded its 2023-24 placement season with impressive job offers and internship stipends. Over 500 offers from more than 135 companies across 15 sectors reflect SRCC’s strong industry connections and the high demand for its students.
This year’s highest salary package reached an impressive Rs. 35 lakh per annum, while the average package stood at Rs. 8.63 lakh, with the median at Rs. 7.15 lakh. The total gross value of placements amounted to Rs. 43.42 crore. Additionally, the top 10 percentile of students secured an average CTC of Rs. 19.62 lakh per annum.
Internships also saw significant growth, with the highest stipend rising by 67% to Rs. 3.67 lakh per month. The average stipend was Rs. 40,000, with a total of 115 internship offers made. Prominent recruiters included leading companies such as BCG, McKinsey & Company, Microsoft, Deutsche Bank, and Google.
Gender distribution among students was fairly balanced, with 46% men and 54% women. Notably, 10% of the student cohort was from BA (Hons) Economics, while 80% were from BCom (Hons).
